Due to multiple unforeseen scheduling conflicts, Forward in the Fifth will postpone its annual Summit, 30th Anniversary and Appalachian Leaders in Education (AppLE ) Awards presentation which was scheduled for Wednesday, November 9.
Forward in the Fifth will recognize the 2016 Appalachian Leaders in Education (AppLE) Awards during the annual summit in Spring 2017.
Fourteen Eastern Kentucky counties will now be able to take advantage of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program, which encourages early literacy while assisting children with the creation of their own personal library.
