FIF will host annual summit, AppLE Awards in Spring 2017

Due to multiple unforeseen scheduling conflicts, Forward in the Fifth will postpone its annual Summit, 30th Anniversary and Appalachian Leaders in Education (AppLE ) Awards presentation which was scheduled for Wednesday, November 9.

Feed the Mind literacy event

Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear and Dr. Mary Lynne Capilouto joined more than 900 third-grade students in Pulaski County on Wednesday for the third annual “Feed the Mind” event to celebrate reading and promote literacy throughout the region.


Free Parent Workshop in Breathitt County

One-day grant training workshop

The Center for Rural Development will be hosting a one-day grant training workshop on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.  This workshop will teach you all the necessary steps  to improve your success rate in finding, obtaining and managing grants.
