If so, nominate them for Forward in the Fifth’s 2014 Appalachian Leaders in Education (AppLE) Awards. The annual awards program recognizes leaders in education who have made signification contributions to promote and support education within Forward in the Fifth’s 45-county primary service area.
Nominations will be accepted through March 21 in the following four AppLE Awards categories:
- Educator (early childhood, K-12, higher education, adult education)
- Community/Business Leader
- Parent or Parent Group
- Student or Student Group
Finalists will be notified by Forward in the Fifth, and winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in April at The Center for Rural Development.
